MMkay. This is a drawing of Scorpius Malfoy, who is mentioned in the DH epilogue. I've recently fallen in love with the AS/S pairing-- that's Albus-Severus/Scorpius for those who haven't heard of it-- and I figured I'd show the fandom a bit of love. AS/S is actually the first HP slash pairing I've liked and have accepted as plausible, EVER, mainly because we know next to nothing about the two of them.
Thank you, JKR; the epilogue may have sucked, but you left us fic readers/writers with plenty of bait for our imaginations to bite. Fanon ho!
P.S. Oh yeah. We never learn what house Scorpius or Albus end up in, but my vision of him fits best in Ravenclaw. I have no problem with Slytherin!Scorpius, and I'll read it gladly, but he'll always be a Ravenclaw in my heart.
I know, I know...actually...I've done even worse than that.
I didn't even read any of the books until the first four were already out, then I read them in like a week (years ago, obviously). And I haven't read any of them since.
TT___TT
Shame, shame, SHAME on me...
But for whatever reason, when the second Eragon book came out I was all over that mess.
This seems kind of like flaming you know, just because someone doesn't like it is no means to insult someone. That is rude. The fact was- the epilogue was not good writing. At all. Or at least it was to me.
I disliked the entire book however, due to the lack of logic and horrible moral messages- the epilogue was also completely unnecessary and read like a fanfic.
That is MY opinion. Do not imply that somone his stupid because their opinion disagrees with yours- that is what literacy interpretation is all about.

I think I'll imply whatever I want. I just think it's weird that people think they can tell J.K how to write when she is the only one who knows what her characters would and wouldn't do. She is the best living writer in the world, what have you done?
Just because I am not a best seeling author does not mean I am not intitled to think her writing is less than perfect. The fact is: she ISN'T perfect. The series had promise, but the fact is Rowling lost her moral messages on the way and she fully admits to not rereading her previous books, which has resulted in alot of her work feeling unconnected in the later books. It's understandable what with it taking 17 years to write the series- but she should have reread them.
The morality of the last few books was awful. She claimed the books were about tolerance and were against prejudice but she failed in this area by discarding the majority of slytherins and muggles continued to be twits. Apparently unforgiveables are only bad if the bad guys do it and Harry only ever got far from luck and having more talented friends.
She is also NOT the best living writer in the world in my opinion. To say so is only a matter of OPINION. Ever heard of Terry Pratchett? Stephan King? In my opinion they are better writers. That's all it is OPINION. Do not claim your opinions as fact.

oh my, my. I don't think I have to say anything else.
But I will anyway.
If you ever become a best "seeling" author, let me know. That would be the most hilarious thing ever. And think what you want of Rowling. The fact is she doesn't just write to convey some kind of moral message. She writes about real characters. The later books happen to older individuals, and therefor are much more murky in the moral department. The world isn't black and white, it's gray. When you become an adult you learn that, and so did Rowlings characters.
Also, Terry Pratchett is cool, but stephen king is overrated.
When did it suddenly become cool to hate everything? It's a growing problem, especially in the entertainment world, and no one benefits from an increasingly hard to please, pessimistic audience.
