I've been trying to get out to home depot for THREE WEEKS so I can get the stuff to make my sister's birthday present. None of my car-friends have been able to take me, and the bus schedule doesn't lend itself to the life of a student- it's starting to look like I won't get this thing made at all, and it's really pissing me off since I've been planning this for months and, once I have the materials in hand, building it won't take me more than three hours or so. I thought I'd have a ride today but they left without me, so....yeah.

Sorry, sis. Enjoy your 30th without a contribution from me. :cries:

what did you plan on making her o_o?
:iconsenira:
A bamboo skewer knife block; all it is is a box filled with bamboo skewers that you can stick knives in and they stay suspended. I did end up getting a ride the day or so after, so I got it made in time. ^_^

By the way, what schools did you end up applying to? I'm so curious!

ooooh! Wonderful! Did you take a picture of it? I'd love to see it!

Eeeck! Funny you should mention that, since acceptances are this month! This week and beyond! Yikes!
Well..nothing exciting...I applied to the usual I guess

Starting with the states- SF and SJ
I also applied to Cal Poly under graphic design..which required a portfolio that I ended up nothing doing (no timeee ahhh!!) and I am saddened, so i'm pretty sure I'm not going to get accepted now xD

And for the UCs! Berkeley, Davis, Santa Cruz, San Diego.
